Our Policies

OFFICE HOURS

 

Call us Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. If we miss your call, we will reach out to you as soon as possible or the next business day.

 

PRODUCTS

 

We ask our regular clients to provide the cleaning products and equipment necessary to clean your home, except for a vacuum, we bring our own vacuum. We will send you a list of the cleaning products we like to use. 

 

For one-time cleanings or move-in/move-out cleanings we bring our products and equipment to clean your home.

 

We are flexible to work with your individual needs, so we can make arrangements accordingly  that will work best for you.

 

DEEP CLEANINGS/MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT CLEANINGS

 

For these cleanings the agreed upon rate will be for the maximum hours discussed prior to your cleaning. If extra time is necessary to complete your home cleaning then there will be an additional hourly cost that will be communicated to you if it is necessary.

CANCELLATION

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your scheduled cleaning, Top Choice Maids requires a two-business day (48 hour) notice. If we receive less than two business days’ notice, we will charge you 50% of the price of your cleaning.

*Exceptions: An exception will be made in cases of family/medical emergencies, inclement weather, natural disaster, or other unforeseen destructive events.

 

Please note, we may need to reschedule you if your cleaning falls on a holiday, for any of the above exceptions, or if something happens to our cleaners such as, sickness, call outs, accidents, or any other similar situations. In this case, you will not be charged any fees.

LOCKOUT

 

If we cannot access your home on the date and time you are scheduled, we will need to charge you 50% of the price of your cleaning.

 

ACCESS

 

What are my options?

 

Key: You may leave a key to your residence with Top Choice Maids. Your key will be kept safe with us. If you have an alarm system, please give us access and instructions.

 

Meet Us: If you prefer, you can meet our team at your residence. Please be aware of our Lockout Policy in case our team cannot access your home.

 

Other Arrangements: If neither of the above options work for you, please make other arrangements with our office.

 

PAYMENT

 

Top Choice Maids accepts credit card, cash, or check.

  • For cash and check we ask that you leave a sealed envelope with your name and Top Choice Maids written on the outside of the envelope.

 

Full payment is due on the day of your cleaning before 6PM for regular clients. First time cleanings such as move in/out, deep cleaning, standard one time, must send payment 24 hours before the cleaning if paying through credit/debit card.

Please note, a $25 fee will be charged for each returned check.

 

LATE FEE: Overdue payments are subject to a late fee of $25 for each day from the day of service.

TIPPING

​

Tipping is always optional. If you decide to leave a tip for our team, we ask that you leave it separate from the payment of your regular service. Please leave the tip in a separate envelope labeled "Tip" or directly hand to our team.

ARRIVAL AND TIMING

 

We do our best to meet the cleaning time indicated, but we ask that you understand that traffic, other clients, and unforeseen events may affect our schedule. 

 

Your preferred arrival time will be discussed at the time of booking, but we ask that you give us an arrival window of 4 hours (8:30AM-12PM, 12PM-4PM) to handle the variables of each day. Please know that we will clean your house on the day we agreed to unless we reach out to you saying otherwise. If your team is running late we will contact you.

 

BREAKAGE AND/OR DAMAGE POLICY

 

Top Choice Maids is bonded and insured. If you have any further questions, please ask us for more details.

If any incident occurs, you will have 30 days from the incident to file a claim form and mail it in to our office.

​

GIFT CERTIFICATES

​

Gift certificates are nonrefundable. They must be used within 6 months from date of purchase.

 

HOLIDAYS

 

If your cleaning falls on a holiday such as, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day we will contact you to reschedule your cleaning. 

 

OUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

 

We strive to provide outstanding cleaning services for our clients. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service provided, let us know within 24 hours of your cleaning so we can re-clean the area that you are not satisfied with. Please note, we do not offer refunds.
